Afer being in the Top ten of Emergenza, Batia-Teryx went on an extended break.

Forged in the chaos of passion and enlightenment, Suzie “Batia” Shiaman encountered Ron “Teryx” Schmidtling on a beach overlooking the ocean.
Playing feverishly, they rocked on.
With Mike Levi bangin' on a bongo and Emily stepping up to insert a classical dose,
they played at 14 Below, The Cinema Bar, and The UnUrban Cafe, The Gig, The Key Club...

By 2007, the flame was cooking all those that came into contact.
Especially the neighbors.
It was time to bring in the bass, and working in a secret lab nearby, Dave Carson answered the call!
Finally, they reached the Tipping point, and the Universe naturally kicked them into the spotlight.
Then, they imploded.

Batia-Teryx was: Ron Schmidtling- guitar and vocals, Suzie Shiaman- vocals and percussion, Emily Yut Schmidtling- violin and percussion, David Carson- bass, Mike Levi- drums.
